We are a group of local horse owners who have formed a BHS affiliated group.
Our group was formed in May 2003 and covers the area of Saltburn, Marske, Redcar, New Marske, Dunsdale, Wilton, Upleatham and Skelton. We work together to raise funds to improve bridleways and campaign for better access for riders.
Committee members meet every 6 to 8 weeks to discuss bridleway issues and district meetings for all members are held in May and October. At the public meetings we often have speakers such as vets, farriers, feed experts and BHS officers.
Members receive regular newsletters and are encouraged to attend the meetings. We encourage our members to take an active roll in the group which includes the monitoring of their local bridleways.
We have regular social events throughout the year such as race nights, quizzes and equestrian day trips.
